About Us

The Texas Center for Joint Replacement is devoted exclusively to the diagnosis, education, care and treatment of joint replacement patients. That specialization helps ensure that we offer the most effective treatment and care. We try to follow our patients’ progress for life, keeping track of joint replacements and implants for many years. This helps us know how to best treat our patients with the newest, best techniques and materials.

Most patients say they would recommend TCJR to a friend. In fact, more than 70% of all patients come to the Center because of a recommendation from a friend or relative who is a current patient.

Office Hours

Regular office hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Our phones are down from 12 noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.

Appointments

It is very important that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may not be able to see you that day and your appointment may have to be rescheduled.

Paperwork

For your convenience and because of the amount of time it takes to complete our new patient paperwork, please download it from the Forms page and bring the completed forms with you to your appointment.

Prescriptions and prescription refills

If you are having any problems that you think may be related to your medication, please call us during office hours Monday through Friday.

If you are a current patient and are taking medication prescribed by our doctors, you can call during office hours to request a refill. Please have the name of the medicine, your dosage and the phone number of your pharmacy handy when you call.

Insurance Plans

Texas Center for Joint Replacement accepts most insurance plans, but you should check with your carrier to make sure. We cannot know the terms of all our patients' plans and must leave the responsibility of making sure they are covered with the patients. We're sorry, but we do not take new Medicaid or Worker's Compensation patients.
